I'm Backkkkk!!!

I know I have been completely MIA lately, but I have been super busy.  Since the last time I blogged a lot has happened!

Lets fill-in shall we!

1. The Holidays:

Yes I dressed up for school.  It was a costume day and I was told everyone dresses up.  FALSE.  I was the ONLY teacher that dressed up (by dressing up I guess they meant Halloween shirts or something...), but yeah I was the awesome 5th grade teacher that was Minnie Mouse and jumped in the jump-jump with the kids.  Fun day!

2. School:

School has been great!  I love my kids and I always have funny stories to tell!  Even though it is my first year teaching I feel at home.  I work with great people that are very supportive and I love going to work each day.  The year has flown by and only 20 more days left!  But in those 20 days we have a 5th grade picnic, 4 days of after school state test reviewing, 4 days of state testing, 5th grade field trip to Myrtle Beach, Wet-n-Wild Day, Field Day and 5th grade graduation. Its about to be busy!

Also, I have become OBSESSED with stalking reading other teachers blogs.  I hope mine can be like that soon!  I have a lot of things that I do in my classroom that I would like to share with others.  

3. Me

Since I have last blogged I have also been doing some things for my self. For one, I have lost weight.  A lot of weight.  To date I have lost 32.4 pounds.  I joined WeightWatchers in November and I have about 6 more pounds until I meet my goal with them, and I am wanting to meet my goal before summer break.  You can just go back and look at the pictures of me from this past summer until now and you can tell how much I have lost.  Dont worry, I will dedicate a whole blog post to this later!

Fall TV Lineup

Not sure if yall remember this....but I LOVE TV shows!!!  No, like really.  I have over 15 different tv shows on dvd and I love my shows!!!!!  Its my ME time!  So here's what I am currently obsessed with!

Slack

I know it has been a very long time since I have updated!  I am sooooo sorry but I have had a trillion and one things to do.
I get to school every morning by 6:45 and most of the time do not leave until after 4.  So by the time I get home I am exhausted.  I eat supper, watched tv, go to bed by 9:30 then I am back at it again.  Exciting life, I know.....
But I LOVE it!!!!!  Teaching as been great and everything that I thought it would be!  My students can be very amusing at times and almost out of control at others, but I love it! I could not have asked for a better school to be working in.  I have a wonderful principal and assistant principal, and I work with great teachers!  Even though it is my first year, I feel at home.

In other exciting news....
My bff and both of my former roommates got married and it was a great wedding!  Congrats Shane and Olive!!!  I love you both. First Day of School

Tomorrow will start the first day of MANY first day of school for me!!!

Yep, thats right, tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!  ahhhhh, i am so nervous and excited at the same time!!!!

Last week our school held Open House and I met many of my students!  

Wish me luck and say a little prayer for me!

My Classroom!

Okay so all week I have been working very hard to get my classroom ready!!!  I had wonderful helpers, Lauren, Michael, David, Mom, David and Aunt Lib!!!!!  Thank ya'll for everything!!!!

So here it is (with before and after pictures haha!)  There is still a few things to get done, but I am in love with it!  Also if a bulletin board is blank, then student work is going to go on it!
