Day 30- July 24

IKEA!!!!

If anyone has ever seen my room, you know that I am addicted to Ikea!!!  I just love that place!  Well B is moving to Charleston this coming weekend, so we took a trip to Ikea to get him some furniture.  3.5 hours and a couple hundred dollars, B has some new awesome furniture!

Day 29- July 23

We got back from the beach early this morning and I took a great 3 hour nap!!!!

Tonight I got to babysit Parker, my friend Emilee's baby!!!  He is sooooo smart and sooo cute!

Family Beach Vacation!

For those of you who do not know, my brothers are VERY into Mustangs, and guess what this week at Myrtle Beach is..... no other than Mustang Week!  Yep, thats right, a whole week for Mustang lovers, and I would not really be called one of them (and yes I did drive an orange 5-speed Mustang in high school but......). So I was soaking up the sun all week.  David's girlfriend Andrea went with us, so it was nice to for once have another girl on the trip!  Also, mom's best friend Lisa and her daughter also came for the beginning of the week!  I love when they come on vacation bc they love to play board game with us!!!!  I will admit, I did go to a few of the good ole Mustang Events----I love the Burnout Contest hahaha!

Days 21, 22, and 23- July 15-17

Olive's Bachelorette Weekend!!!!!!!

It was a blast!!!  All the girls went down to Myrtle Beach for the weekend! Pam and MH even flew in for the weekend!!!  It was a great girls weekend and definitely a weekend we will never forget!

Day 20- July 14

We are headed out tomorrow (Friday) to good ole Myrtle Beach for Olive's Bachelorette Weekend!!!  My family is also going to be Myrtle Beach for the next week, so I should come back from the beach VERY tan!!!

So tonight, I had to pack for 9 days at the beach.  This is what that looks like for me:

Day 19- July 13

Today was a fun day!

I went and got a pedicure after work in preparation for the beach!  I tried a new color and I really like it!

After I met Sonnie (by bff from USC, she was also an education major) for dinner at Cantina 76!  I have never been before, but it was great! I got quesadillas and they drizzled a spicy bbq sauce on top and it was amazing! 

We had a great dinner talking about searching for jobs, and new things for a classroom!  

When I got home, the roomies needed to run downtown and I decided to go alone for the ride.  While there we stoped by Yoghut!  Last summer Olive and I went there all the time, and surprisingly this was the first time we have been this summer!

Well it seems that the only thing I did today was sleep, I really need to go and like workout or something.  Well its almost midnight now, maybe tomorrow!

Day 18- July 12

Craft time again!

Tonight Kerri, Breelyn and I finally made it to Mad Platter!!!!!  It was awesome.  If you live in the Columbia area, you have got to go!!!  Tip: Go on Tuesday nights, its buddy night and the studio fee is half off if you go with friends.  Here is what we painted (before being fired of course!):

Day 17- July 11

Day 16- July 10

Today I came down to Lancaster for the weekend!  One of my favorite parts of coming home is seeing my baby puppy Zoe!!!!!

Day 13- July 7

I love Lost!  Not sure if anyone else has watched the series but I finally finished the series last night and ohhh mmyyyy gosshhhhh was it GREAT!!!  Olive, Shane and I started watching it a few months ago with Netflix put all the episodes on the Wii, and we were all hooked.  Our different schedules made it so that after a while, us watching it together every night just did not work out, but in our own time we are finishing the series!!!  I def recommend it!

Also, last night I got wrapped up in the book that I was reading, Something Blue by Emily Griffin, and read until I finished it, which was 3:33am.  So that is why I am updating now instead of last night, and that late of a night made it very hard for me to get up to make it to work on time, but I was only 2 minutes late, Go me!!!
For Christmas I got a Nook Color and I LOVE IT!!!!!  I really think it my be my favorite piece of technology, and that is saying a lot because I have it alllll.  My next read: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (my awesome friend B somehow put all 7 books on my Nook, our secret!).  So yeah, I started reading the Harry Potter series years ago and always read ahead of the movie release, well the seventh book I got behind, I have a week, I CAN DO IT!!!!

Day 12- July 6

Well tonight turned out different than planned.  Kerri, Olive and me have been planning to go to Mad Platter (a place in Columbia where you paint on pottery!) for like a week.  Well  we forgot one major part of going, their hours, I mean who closes at 6??   Well we did not get off work until 5, so yeah we were never going to make it there by 6.  Maybe another day...
So new plan, Olive went shopping for a dress for her bachelorette weekend, so Kerri and I went to Hobby Lobby, Wal Mart and then to eat.  We were shopping for things for me to personalize, especially clear cups with lids (if anyone knows where to get them let me know!-we can't find them anywhere) and only bought black tubs.  I am going to personalize them this weekend so I will make sure I post pictures of them.
While at Wa lMart we of course had to go look at the school supplies!  This part of the year usually is my favorite because I love school supplies, and I always looked forward to the day when I get to make the school supply list for my own classroom! Even though that day is not coming as fast I as want it to (stupid economy!) it will soon---I HOPE!!!!!!!
But anyways...... while shopping we noticed this:

Yeah, that is a price tag of $2,360.50 at Wal Mart, ummm no.  It was priced for the whole display of black ink cartridges instead of one box.  Like really??? We found it hilarious! 

Lunchables!

So when I was in elementary school, I would love the day that I got a Lunchable in my lunchbox.  The nachos and pizza were my favorite!!!  Well today I forgot to pack a lunch, so I went over to Publix because I knew they sold a lot of fresh deli options.  Well once in the store I noticed something that caught my eye.  ADULT LUNCHABLES (well that is not really what they are called- but they should be)!!!  I was almost overtaken my excitement!  It came with a sandwich, jello and a 100 cal pack.  It was amazed so of course I bought it.  The sandwich was okay- I should have just bought a fresh deli sub from Publix but oh well.  But it is def something I will remember when buying things to take to lunch!
